Tentatively scheduled for Friday, August 16 at 6:00 p.m., the CIS Database Support Group planning to upgrade the ADABAS DBMS (database management sub-system) for the CICS sub-systems that support CLAIM, the Automated Bookkeeping application and Centrex. The upgrade involves implementing ADABAS version 712, Natural version 314, and Predict version 412. The maintenance is expected to take 1 day and should be completed by 6:00 p.m. on August 17. The production regions (CICSNAT and CICS) will be unavailable during the upgrade. 

Upgrade status of production- July 25
This upgrade is dependant on the implementation of the new versions of ADABAS, NATURAL and Predict in the ADATST1 sub-system (currently documented at http://itim.tamu.edu/htmlfs/changes/adatst071803.shtml). If the implementation date for the upgrade of ADATST1 is not performed on August 9, the production ADABAS sub-system will not be upgraded on August 16.
