Implementation of patches to the servers in the mirkwood domain -

On Sunday, February 25, the PC Technologies group implemented a number of security patches on the servers in the
mirkwood domain. The process was performed as scheduled and was completed by 6:45 a.m. No problems were reported with the maintenance.
The following patches were implemented:
KB928843: Vulnerability in HTML Help ActiveX Control Could Allow Remote Code Execution (928843)
KB931836: February 2007 cumulative time zone update for Microsoft Windows operating systems
KB890830: Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - Feburary 2007
KB928255: Vulnerability in Windows Shell Could Allow Elevation of Privilege (928255)
KB928090: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (928090)
KB924667: Vulnerability in Microsoft MFC Could Allow Remote Code Execution (924667)
KB918118: Vulnerability in Microsoft RichEdit Could Allow Remote Code Execution (918118)
KB926436: Vulnerability in Microsoft OLE Dialog Could Allow Remote Code Execution (926436)
