Office 2000 Update - Thursday, Nov 1 at login.
On Thursday, Nov 1 at login, Users will be prompted to install updates to Office 2000 at login. The installation lasts ~5 minutes and requires a workstation reboot upon completion. Users should close all applications and disable the virus scanner for faster installation time. The virus scanner can be disabled by right clicking on the V-Shield icon in the system tray, selecting "Quick Enable", and unchecking "System Scan".
