Netscape Communicator Messenger

To view the mail header of a specific mail message the header option needs to set to ALL within Netscape Communicator. To select the ALL header option, click on the Communicator selection under the Netscape Title Bar. This will cause an option list to come up. Within the list should be Navigator, Messenger and Composer. If you select Messenger , you should be provided a list of all mail in your Netscape Messenger mail box. Open the mail message you that you wish to view the header information. Under the title bar for this mail message screen will be the options of File, Edit, View, Go, Message, Communicator and Help. Click on the View option, move the arrow down to the headers selection and you will be presented with a fold out option list. The options should be All, normal and brief. Make sure the option of All is selected and you will be show the full header information.

Pegaus Mail
- To view the mail header information of a specific mail message using Pegasus mail, select the mail message by double clicking on it. Under the title bar of this screen you should see the options of File, Edit, Addresses, Tools, Reader, Window and Help. Select the Reader option and make sure the option of Show all Headers (control+H) has a check mark. This will provide all available header information.
Eudora Light version 3.0 Mail Cient

To view the mail header information of a specific mail message using Eudora, select the mail message by double clicking on it. The mail message you have selected will appear in a window on the right part of the screen. Immediately above the message is a picture of a red tow truck and two square option selections. The first square option should have the word blah written in black, grey and white. This is the
show all headers option. Select this option and all header information will be provided.

Microsoft Outlook version 5
- To view the header information of a specific mail message, using Microsoft Outlook version 5, select the mail message you wish to view by clicking on it. You can then click the right mouse button and select the properities option. You will then be provided a screen that has two tab options. The options are General and Details. Select the details option and click the Message source bar. You can then highlight all of the data and select control-insert to copy the data to the clipboard.
Hotmail
- Click the Options Tab and then choose Preferences. Scroll down until you come to the section titled - Other Hotmail Options and look in Message Headers. Mark the Full option and select OK.
Yahoo
- Click on the full headers link on the right side of the yahoo.com web mail page. Select all text displayed in the window and copy it to the clipboard.
Unix
- When you have the mail message up in a window, type an uppercase P. This will display all mail header information
