In January '07, the CICS-BPP sub-system completed 646,313 transactions. This was a reduction of approximately 13 percent when compared to the same period in 2006. During January '06, the CICS-BPP application completed about 739,073 transactions.
The CICS-BPP was implemented into production on April 30, 2001.
The CICS-BPP was previously supported by the IMS-BPP application
