This graph indicates the percentage of CICS-BPP transactions that were completed in these response time thresholds: Less than .5 second, from .5 to 1 second, from 1 to 2 seconds, from 2 to 4 seconds and Over 4 seconds.
The CICS-BPP application currently completes about 98.9 percent of the total number of transactions in less than .5 second.
The distribution of the remaining transactions is:
1.1 percent from .5 to 1 second
0.07 percent from 1 to 2 seconds
less than 0.002 percent from 2 to 4 seconds
and also approximately 0.002 percent for transactions requiring more than 4 seconds to complete.
This is for a total of 646,313 transactions during January '07.
In January '06, the transaction breakdown for the CICS-BPP sub-system was:
97.5 percent in under .5 second
2.2 percent required from .5 to 1 second to complete
about 0.2 percent required from 1 to 2 seconds to complete
about 0.05 percent required from 2 to 4 seconds to complete
and about 0.02 percent required more than 4 seconds to complete.
This was for a total of 739,073 transactions during January '06.
The CICS-BPP was implemented into production on April 30, 2001. The CICS-BPP was previously supported by the IMS-BPP application
