This graph indicates the percentage of FAMIS transactions that were completed in these response time thresholds: Less than .5 second, from .5 to 1 second, from 1 to 2 seconds, from 2 to 4 seconds and Over 4 seconds.
For January '07, the FAMIS application completed about 96 percent of the total number of transactions in less than 0.5 second. The distribution of the remaining transactions is:
3.5 percent from .5 to 1 second
0.4 percent from 1 to 2 seconds
about 0.1 percent from 2 to 4 seconds
and about 0.03 percent for transactions requiring more than 4 seconds to complete. This is for a total of
4.9
million transactions during January '07.
In January '06, the transaction breakdown for the FAMIS application was as follows:
89.5 percent under .5 second,
7.8 percent from .5 to 1 second,
1.6 percent from 1 to 2 seconds, about 0.7 percent from 2 to 4 seconds,
and about 0.5 percent over 4 seconds.
This was for a total of 5.6 million transactions implemented in a dedicated CICS-ADABAS sub-system.
