This graph indicates the percentage of NATURAL transactions that were completed in these response time thresholds: Less than .5 second, from .5 to 1 second, from 1 to 2 seconds, from 2 to 4 seconds and Over 4 seconds.
On March 04, 2002, the FAMIS application was moved to a dedicated CICS sub-system and ADABAS Database Management sub-system. That condition has helped reduce the average response time for the transactions that remain in the CICS-NAT sub-system.
The NATURAL applications are currently completing about 98.5 percent of the total number of transactions in less than 0.5 second.
The distribution of the remaining transactions is:
0.9 percent from .5 to 1 second
0.5 percent from 1 to 2 seconds
0.02 percent from 2 to 4 seconds
and about 0.01 percent for transactions requiring more than 4 seconds to complete.
This is for a total of about 91,103 transactions during January '07.
In January '06, these percentages were 97 (in under .5
second),
2.3 percent (between .5 and 1 second),
about 0.6
percent (between 1 and 2 seconds),
about 0.01 percent (between 2 and 4 seconds) and less than
0.04
percent (for
over 4 seconds). This is for a total of 150,498 transactions.
