In January '07, the average host response time for the SIMS application was less than 0.01 second. In January '06, the average host response time was about .05 second.
The Host Response Time is the length of time required for the system to execute a transaction for that application.
A transaction is completed when a customer presses enter on the keyboard and the data requested is presented on the screen.
