For the month of January '07, the total number of transactions executed was approximately 9 percent fewer than in January '06. The actual values were 4.8 million transactions for January '07 and 5.3 million transactions for January '06. The total number of transactions for January '05 was 4.5 million.
The SIMS application experiences peak workloads during January and August. This is associated with the registration and the Drop-Add process of students.
