This graph indicates the percentage of CICS-SIMS transactions that were completed in these response time thresholds: Less than .5 second, from .5 to 1 second, from 1 to 2 seconds, from 2 to 4 seconds and Over 4 seconds.
The CICS-SIMS application is currently completing about 98.6 percent of the total number of transactions in less than .5 second. The distribution of the remaining transactions is:
about 1.3 percent from .5 to 1 second
about 0.05 percent from 1 to 2 seconds
less than 0.005 percent from 2 to 4 seconds
and also less than 0.001 percent for transactions requiring more than 4 seconds to complete.
This is for a total of 4.8 million transactions during the month of
January '07.
The transaction response time breakdown for January '06 was:
98.2 percent in under .5 second
about 1.6 percent required from .5 to 1 second to complete
0.2 percent required from 1 to 2 seconds to complete
about 0.03 percent required from 2 to 4 seconds to complete
and less than about 0.01 percent required more than 4 seconds to complete for a total of
5.3 million transactions.
